Sportsbet files injunction against BetEasy

Sportsbet is seeking to prevent online betting company BetEasy from employing former Sportsbet staff member, Kelli Carpanini, according to local media. Sportsbet has filed for an injunction in the Victorian Supreme Court against both the company and former CEO Matthew Tripp in an attempt to prevent the poaching of staff. The lawsuit says Carpanini began working for Sportsbet in breach of a “non-compete” period.
