Sportsbook Favorit sees strong growth in UK

The Australian sports betting site, Favourit, has experienced strong growth in the UK since launching in November, the company announced.

Favourit, which recently partnered with tech company EveryMatrix, is a sportsbook modeled on social media that offers betting insight in real time.

Since entering the UK market the sportsbook has been “outperforming internal expectations and targets,” the company said in a statement.

“Favourit has differentiated itself in the UK market by creating a sports betting user experience for today’s digital engagement, the company said, adding that it offers 14,000 betting opportunities per month.

“We’ve experienced rapid growth since our launch in November 2014 and are excited about the market opportunities we are actively assessing for the social sportsbook,” Favorit CEO Toby Simmons said.
