Strong representation

The Department for Enterprise, representatives from the Gambling Supervision Commission and a large delegation from the Isle of Man’s e-Gaming sector will be attending ICE this year to promote the Isle of Man as a world-class destination for e-Gaming business.

Tony Ure, head of e-Gaming at the Department for Enterprise, commented: “The Isle of Man is one of the top centres for e-Gaming in the world and shows like ICE give us and our stand partners an opportunity to promote the Island’s holistic offering and meet with new and existing companies who are looking to start, grow or relocate.

“In the Isle of Man we are building a world-class e-Gaming ecosystem that offers operators and entrepreneurs the full suite of services for their business, with professional support services to guide every potential new licensee through the process and beyond.

“This year we have a total of 15 stand partners that are all local companies looking to promote the Isle of Man and secure quality leads for their businesses. It’s encouraging to see such strong engagement from the private sector as we work towards our shared goal of creating an environment that allows businesses to thrive and flourish.”

Local companies Sure, Manx Telecom, Domicilium, C8, Wi-Manx, Affinity, SMP, Cavendish Trust, Boston, TGP, Appleby, KPMG, Casinocoin, ManxFX, and Capital International Group will all be joining the Department for Enterprise at stand N6-220.

James Cunningham-Davis, managing director of Cavendish Trust Company, commented; “ICE is a hugely important show in the e-Gaming calendar and as such Cavendish Trust has chosen to partner with the Department for Enterprise on their stand at ICE for a number of years. We believe the Isle of Man continues to offer an internationally respected, responsible, secure, and stable home for remote gambling companies of any size. We look forward to another successful show and to working with the Department’s e-Gaming Team to help advise and facilitate more remote gambling businesses to call the Island their home.”
