Suncity offers voluntary resignation scheme 

Suncity Group has launched a voluntary lay-off scheme in a bid to cut down costs, according to local media, citing a letter sent to Suncity employees.

The scheme includes a sizable benefits package, full provident fund payouts, medical insurance and help in finding new jobs, there will also be extra allowances for those over 60 years of age. 

Suncity CEO Alvin Chau in a letter to staff pointed out the impact of the pandemic and the urgent need to restructure.
