Tabcorp reports lift in revenue in FY 16Q3


Australia-listed Tabcorp Holdings Limited reported FY 16Q3 group revenues were up 1.9 percent sequentially, according to a recent media release.

FY 16Q3 group revenue was A$518.4 million (US$394.7), and year-to-date revenue was A$1.7 million, up 1.9 percent from the previous corresponding period.

“Tabcorp continued to drive revenue growth in the third quarter, with pleasing levels of customer engagement across the group. Wagering turnover grew more than 3 percent, although the revenue performance was impacted by favorable results for customers,” said Tabcorp CEO and managing director, David Attenborough.

Total wagering turnover was A$3.1 billion, up 3.1 percent, whilst wagering and media revenues were down 0.5 percent in the quarter to A$442.8 million.

Gaming Services revenue was up 11.2 percent to A$26.9 million. TGS had 412 revenue-generating machines under contract in NSW with a further 301 machines to commence billing in FY 16Q4.

Keno revenues were up 10.9 percent to A$48.7 million.
