TCM Introduces hi-tech sports application for the US market

China based startup tech company, The Cheerful Moment (TCM) has announced that it has successfully launched its TCM InPlay social sports gaming application.

The app is designed for global distribution including the underserved US sports market. The secure cross platform infrastructure allows users to play for real money in jurisdictions where it’s legal and for social entertainment gaming with virtual currency worldwide.

TCM debuted with great fanfare with its Asian facing brand “ The Starting Whistle” ranking 8th in the Apple Store on its very first day and as a featured app the following day. The Company plans to ride that momentum with follow up releases in the US and Europe.

TCM InPlay increases the entertainment and interactivity factor by providing multiple events to wager on during a match, the app will also allow for patrons to trade out at anytime. There are currently three play modes Single Player, Tournament, and Prize Play. Another feature is a progressive jackpot where a portion of the stake is applied to a prize pool. Additionally, TCM InPlay has a leaderboard feature that ranks the performance of the participant and provides dashboards and statistics to enhance the competitive nature of sports bettors. TCM InPlay utilizes live streaming and proprietary algorithms with oversight from expert oddsmakers, further, the company partnered with the world’s largest sports information services to provide up to the second accurate occurrences and results.

TCM is led by Jim Yu, a gaming veteran who served 10 years at industry giant Betfair before joining 500.com a NYSE listed company, who entered into a strategic partnership with TCM, and will provide access to entertain its database of 60 million registered users.

To navigate North America, TCM tapped gaming executive John English who introduced the first Nevada regulated sports betting kiosk for restricted gaming locations and was a partner at American Wagering Inc. who developed and released the first approved Smartphone betting application before selling the company to London based William Hill.

“When Jim first showed me his idea it was immediately apparent that TCM InPlay is a brilliant product for the limited sports betting market in the US. There has not been a successful merger of real money betting and social interaction for sports and we aim to be the first to bridge that gap. TCM InPlay has begun the required lab and regulatory requirements and soon will start a beta test for the western markets” stated John English, US Partner for TCM.

The company recently completed integrations with the major social networks and mobile operating systems such as Facebook, WeChat, IOS, Android, and Google Play, and it’s available in five languages: Chinese, English, German, Polish and Portuguese. The first sport offered is soccer and next will be American football, the company has future plans to offer all the popular US sporting events including, basketball, baseball, hockey, boxing, fantasy, and the now trending eSports phenomenon.

“I am thankful and excited to introduce our application to the US market. I have great respect for America and its stringent compliance and regulatory system. I am also indebted to my team and my supporters who have tirelessly spent over a year, 24/7, to develop a true game changer for the US sports betting industry. TCM InPlay is fun, easy to use, appeals to the millennial generation, and it adds intense action to the game. We look forward to discovering new distribution partnerships in the regulated gaming space as well as the immense social frontiers.” stated Jim Yu, chief executive officer of TCM.
