Ukrainian Gaming Week postponed to November

The Ukrainian Gaming Week 2020 has been postponed from October to Nov. 26-27 due to the extension of quarantine measures in the country.

The government there has banned the entry to the country for foreigners in the period from August 28 to September 28.

Organizer, Smile-Expo, said it’s important that attendees, exhibitors, speakers, sponsors of the event and representatives of the media could seamlessly get to the event irrespective of the country of their residence. For this reason, a decision was taken to postpone UGW 2020 to ensure seamless access to the event and arrange quality networking.

To secure participants and guests of the event against catching coronavirus, UGW 2020 will comply with all requirements of the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine intended to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The event was to have been the first large-scale gaming event since the pandemic, with about 3,000 attendees expected. It’s also the first conference since Ukraine liberalized gaming.

On November 26, UGW 2020 will organize a conference, where Ukrainian and foreign experts will analyze subtleties of the new law, consider promising directions of the gambling business, and discuss the future of the industry.

For the program and details of the event see: ugw.com.ua.
