A union representing workers at Echo Entertainment's Jupiters Hotel and Casino on the Gold Coast is asking for a government investigation into alleged contract violations after the casino outsourced its cleaning and housekeeping to a company that makes heavy use of migrant workers. The United Voice union alleges working hours for its members have been heavily cut while the cleaners from Challenger Cleaning are working excess hours. Challenger has denied wrongdoing.
