Upgraded SkyCity Adelaide Casino anticipates late November opening

The upgraded SkyCity Adelaide Casino is expected to open in late November, and is already taking bookings for December, according to the local media.

The A$330 million (US$238 million) upgrades feature the addition of 120 guest rooms, new restaurants, a wellness center, and a bar with a panoramic view of the region.

General Manager of SkyCity Adelaide David Christian told the media, “One of the key features has been focusing on that it’s a true [South Australia] venue; whether it be with the artwork all sourced locally, our food and wine list, down to [local fashion designer] Liza Emanuele designing all out new uniforms. It will make an extremely unique product and will be equally one of the best casino, entertainment venue products in Australasia.”
