Kabaddi was the first initiative undertaken by U Sports with an ambition of transforming the "game of soil"​ (Iss Miti ka Khel) into a contemporary sport, which in its current avatar is played on mats.U Sports owns the Mumbai city franchise, U Mumba, in the Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League. The only team to reach the finals for all 3 Seasons and finished Season 2 as Champions.
