Victoria seeks community views on lottery

The state government of Victoria’s Department of Justice and Regulation is seeking the community’s views on current and future licensing arrangements for public lotteries in Victoria.

“A consultation paper has been prepared to provide...an overview of the current licensing and regulatory framework, as well as options for public lottery licences post-2018. The paper raises issues and questions that are designed to assist you to make a submission,” the Department of Justice said on its website.

“Information gathered through this process will help inform the development of future regulatory arrangements for public lotteries in Victoria,” it added

Submissions will be accepted until 19 May, 2015.
