Vietnamese police on Tuesday transferred a Chinese fugitive wanted for suspicion of opening an online casino, local media reports.
The male suspect, named Zhou along with several associates had allegedly set up an online gambling site in 2011, involving capital of 400 billion yuan (US$61.7 billion) and profits of 580 million yuan.
Zhou later fled abroad, and in 2014, the International Criminal Police Organization issued red notice against the fugitive.
In 2015, the Chinese Ministry of Public Security sent a request over to Vietnam for the arrest of Zhou, who was recently found and arrested at a restaurant in Hanoi.
