VIP table win up at Emperor despite volume drop


 

Emperor Entertainment Hotel Ltd. reported that gaming revenues at the Grand Emperor Hotel rose 14 percent to HK$1.86 billion ($240 million) in the year ended March 31 from a year earlier as net profits rose 17.9 percent to HK$548.6 million. Mass table revenues rose 17.2 percent to HK$1.38 billion on similar growth, as average win per table per day rose 11.8 percent to HK$104,000. Revenue from the company's self-managed VIP room rose 7.8 percent to HK$428 million and average win per table per day rose 40.3 percent to HK$195,000 even though rolling chip volume declined 11.2 percent to HK$21.4 billion. Slot revenues slipped 11.4 percent to HK$46 million.
