Wynn, Galaxy add new responsible gaming kiosks

Two new responsible gaming kiosks, version 3.0, have been introduced to the casino floors of Galaxy Macau and Wynn Palace, local media reports.

The kiosks, which were first launched by the government in 2012, are designed to tackle problem gambling, providing a means for users to seek help, register for self exclusion, and provide information related to problem gambling.

Developed by the Social Welfare Bureau (IAS), Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ) and the University of Macau’s Institute for the Study of Commercial Gaming, the two new kiosks are in addition to 27 responsible gaming kiosks currently located throughout the territory.

The newly set up kiosks also feature “Ambassadors of Responsible Gaming” staff that can help to provide information and kiosk operation procedures, as well the ability for users to participate in promotional events.
