Wynn Palace has not specified number of gaming tables

The Macau government is yet to hear from Wynn Macau regarding the number of gaming tables and slot machines it is applying for its Wynn Palace, which is opening next month.

According to Macau’s Secretary for Economy and Finance Lionel Leong Vai Tac, the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau has already requested the operator to clarify how many gaming tables and slot machines it needs for its new project.

Leong said the documents the Bureau has received only specify the number of gaming tables the corporation could accommodate.

Wynn Palace, scheduled to open on August 22, will contain a 1,700-room hotel, a performance lake, meeting space, a casino, a spa, retail offerings and food and beverage outlets. The total project budget of Wynn Palace is approximately US$4.2 billion. The resort is set up for a total of 500 gaming tables.
