Preparations for Wynn Palace’s opening on August 22 on track, said Wynn Macau’s chief operating director Linda Chen, TDM reports.
Wynn Macau has held a number of recruitment fairs this year to recruit staff for the new development. Chen said the new casino resort will have around 8,000 employees, some of which will be transferred from Wynn Macau.
Chen also said Wynn Palace has applied for gaming tables from the government, however the number of gaming tables has not been confirmed.
"There must be a step by step application process and we have to do these procedures according to the needs of the business. I think when Wynn Palace opens we can make the official announcement. Wynn Macau's dealers could choose to switch to Wynn Palace for work and be in priority. We might recruit externally only when necessary", said Chen.
Wynn’s new resort will contain a 1,700-room hotel, a performance lake, meeting space, a casino, a spa, retail offerings and food and beverage outlets. The total project budget of Wynn Palace is approximately US$4.2 billion.
