PAGCOR rescues 40 in illegal POGO’s raid, revokes license

PAGCOR lead Inter agency tasked with abating POGO related illegal activity rescued 40 foreign nationals in a raid in Angeles City over the weekend. PAGCOR also revoked Pasig City service provider license following the rescue of over 100 kidnapped and illegally detained workers in Rizal. “We have no problem with legal POGOs” the agency noted, adding that “the worst thing about this is the illegals who give the industry a bad name." The crackdown comes following the joint inter-agency meeting resolution to fight the illegal crimes and kidnapping cases as committed under the cover of POGOs.
