All Asia Dealers Championship details announced


At press conference held on Tuesday May 12, 2015 in Macau, the All Asia Dealers Championship (AADC), taking place concurrently with G2E Asia 2015 and hosted by Asia Gaming Brief and Reed Exhibitions, announced the details of the competition.

In all, fourteen teams, totaling over 50 Dealers, from Macau and across Asia have already confirmed their participation in the inaugural edition of the championship, which will showcase dealers skills and talents in three games - Blackjack, Baccarat and Roulette.

Local Macau properties will field two teams each, and include participants from Sands China, Melco Crown Entertainment, SJM, and Wynn Macau - negotatiations are underway with the remaining concessionaries.

Regional properties will be represented by teams from NagaWorld (Cambodia), Marina Bay Sands (Singapore), Resorts World Sentosa (Singapore), Solaire Resort & Casino (Philippines), Resorts World Manila (Philippines), City of Dreams Manila (Philippines) and Resort World Manila (Philippines).

Josephine Lee, senior vice president of Reed Exhibitions China said: “We are excited about this addition to the G2E Asia schedule of events which will serve to further integrate the Asian gaming industry and bring the different stakeholders together for a fun and exciting event. It makes sense to hold it during G2E Asia, which is THE meeting point for regulators, operators, suppliers, industry associations and representatives from across the region.”

Tournament director, Kate Young, remarked, “It’s wonderful to see the enthusiastic response from these regional casinos who are eager to showcase the talents of their front-line staff - the people who make the industry what it is and provide the all-important customer experience. This is an event that can only grow in stature and relevance going forwards.”

“Our aim is to develop an international platform for dealers to further develop their talent and skills as they are an integral part of the gaming industry. They need to know that the industry cares about them and is here to support them through their careers,” Rosalind Wade, managing director of Asia Gaming Brief said.

The AADC opening ceremony will be held at 14.00 on Tuesday May 19, 2015 on the G2E Asia show floor, booth number 1559. The tournament will continue throughout the three days, with finals being held in the afternoon of Thursday, May 21.

The Gaming Teaching and Research Center, of the Macao Polytecnic Institute is providing a contingent of students that will support the Championship operations team.

In turn, the Associação dos Trabalhadores dos Jogos de Macau is lending its support to the All Asia Dealers Championship.
