Barrière bringing Jean Reno to Wakayama

Groupe Barrière is adding some star power to its bid to partner with Wakayama Prefecture on an IR bid by bringing actor Jean Reno to Marina City to serve as their official brand ambassador.

At a press conference to be held in Wakayama next Tuesday, Barrière intends to express its deep commitment to Wakayama, including the announcement that they will become the first IR operator to open a local office in Wakayama city.

Also in attendance will be Alexandre Desseigne-Barriere, the group’s executive vice president and son of the French company’s chief executive.

While in Marina City, Reno is likely to attend a tuna cutting show after the press conference.
