Booming Games provides a new take on a classic

One of the most significant games primed for release in July by Booming Games is The King Panda, one of the most hotly-anticipated titles.

According to the company, it pushes the boundaries of gameplay and introduces an “exceptional” way of playing slots.

With three reels and a single payline, The King Panda certainly has the look of a classic retro slot, but the experience is anything but typical. Displayed above the reels is the paytable. All but one of the matches need to be formed out of ‘three of a kind’, offering some huge potential payouts.

If creating a game with some pretty unique gameplay wasn’t enough, Booming Games has raised the bar when it comes to the graphics. The King Panda features impressive 3D modelled symbols of vividly coloured glitter balls, golden records and jewel encrusted Vegas style signs – not forgetting, of course, the Elvisesque panda, decked out in the trademark jumpsuit and golden aviators he is ready to take to the microphone.

The paytable is set above the reels and is visible during play. It shows the winning symbol matches and the multiplication that is applied to the coin value for each of the different bet levels.

“Players can select their bet level directly from the paytable or via the bet level selector button which allows them to loop through the levels.”

A network promotion with selected partners is to run in conjunction with The King Panda’s release. Tickets achieved through wagering are draw from a grand draw at the end of the promotion and cash prizes worth up to EUR10,000 (US$11,200) awarded to winning players.

Earlier this year saw the introduction of Double Symbols, Mystery Multiplying Wilds and Interacting Symbols which have gone on to become firm favourites amongst slot fans.

Future features currently under development for release in 2017 include, Slippery Wilds, that transverse down the gameboard with each spin racking up multiple wins, pattern matching wins, such as the Four Corner Pay feature, which will award a bonus payout if you can achieve certain symbol sets in each corner of the gameboard and the Wheel of Fortune, that spins to randomly assign various bonuses and power-ups to existing symbols.
