Caesars expected to name new CEO, ousting Frissora


Casino operator Caesars Entertainment is reportedly preparing to name a new CEO, Anthony Rodio, to replace Mark Frissora, according to a report from the Wall Street Journal.

The news, which is expected on Monday U.S. time, will see Frissora booted from the current CEO helm at Caesars.

Rodio is the CEO of Affinity Gaming, and has around four decades in the gaming industry. He previously worked at Tropicana Entertainment, according to the report.

The company is also expected to announce that it has formed a board committee to evaluate takeover interests.

The company has been in talks with Eldorado Resorts about a possible merger.
