DICJ gives 19 junkets until end of year to improve

Macau’s gaming regulator says 19 VIP promoters are at risk of losing their license if they fail to improve their accounting by the end of the year.

The comments made by Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau Paulo Martins Chan was quoted by Macau Business Daily after the regulator finished checking all 145 licensed junkets.

Chan says the accounting systems of 19 of these firms are “not satisfactory”, warning that he may not renew the licenses of these junkets.

The Bureau has given until the end of the year to solve the problem.
