EveryMatrix secures licences in Romania

EveryMatrix has been granted two Class II Licences from the National Gambling Office in Romania (ONJN), according to a recent press release.

The Class II licences allow suppliers and distributors to provide operators with gambling solutions, platform management and hosting facilities in the regulated Romanian market.

The present Romanian legislative framework is subject to regulations passed in May 2015, when the outdated legislation has been amended to bring the Romanian space in line with the European Commission demands.

“Our access to the Romanian market comes as a natural consequence of our long-time investment in this country. I am proud to say that Romania shelters our largest EveryMatrix office, with more than 50 percent of our employees working in the heart of Bucharest. At the same time, Romania is one of the largest European countries and it is therefore an important addition to our portfolio.” commented Ebbe Groes, EveryMatrix CEO.

Furthermore, as a sign of recognition from the Romanian industry, EveryMatrix’s Sportsbook Solution has been awarded recently “The Best Sportsbook Content Provider” by the local Casino Life & Business Magazine at the beginning of December 2016.

EveryMatrix has a constant interest to adapt and conform to the local regulatory frameworks in the European market securing licences in several reputable jurisdictions, including the United Kingdom, Denmark, Malta, Ireland, and now Romania.
