G2E Vegas to expand focus on integrated resorts

Global Gaming Expo 2015 in Las Vegas will be expanding its focus to include a look at integrated resorts and non-gaming features to cater to customers’ changing demands and expectations.

The Integrated Resort Experience at G2E will present innovative non-gaming technology and products and services as guests would experience them in a gaming-resort setting, the American Gaming Association, which is co-organizing the event, said in a media release.

“Gaming is one component of a diverse entertainment offering in destinations across the globe, and we’re excited to enhance G2E in a way that reflects the full integrated resort experience,” said Ron Rosenbaum, chief operating officer of the AGA.

The Integrated Resort Experience will aim to give casino operators ideas on how to encourage guests to stay longer in their hotels, increase food and beverage spending and increase customer loyalty.

“The G2E show floor will be where technologies, products and services are displayed, and the Integrated Resort Experience will be where these elements are incorporated into an actual resort setting. The core G2E gaming floor also will be enhanced with new networking areas, show schedules to enable more on-floor interaction and improved navigation,” said Ed Several, senior vice president of G2E.

G2E will take place between September 28 and October 1 in Las Vegas at the Sands Expo and Convention Center.
