Gaming figures to attend high-profile Tokyo event

On November 21, the Nihon Keizai Shinbun is hosting a high-profile event, bringing together senior figures from the political and business worlds, dedicated to the theme of the IR industry coming to Japan.

Among the gaming industry people scheduled to speak are Lawrence Ho, Francis Lui, Haruki Satomi, Jason Hyland, and David Green.

As this is an event hosted by the nation’s leading business daily, much of the focus will be on the economic aspects of the industry, including the expected wealth to be created by IRs as well the role they might play in reviving struggling regional areas.

The IR operators sponsoring the event are Galaxy Entertainment, Melco Resorts & Entertainment,  MGM Resorts, Caesars Entertainment, and Sega Sammy.
