Gaming Partners International announces expansion of Blue Springs manufacturing facility

Casino currency and table equipment supplier Gaming Partners International Corp (GPI) has announced it is expanding its manufacturing facility at Blue Springs, Missouri, according to a filing to Nasdaq.

GPI entered into a $2.2 million contract with Miller Staunch Construction Co Inc on Feb. 24 to expand the factory in Blue Springs, with works expected to be completed by the end of the third quarter in 2016.

The company manufactures playing cards and table layouts at the Blue Springs facility and says the expansion will be funded from internal resources, using cash flow from operations.

Gaming Partners International offers an extensive suite of table game products including casino currency, playing cards, layouts and dice to the gaming industry.
