Gaming taxes up 5.4 pct in Jan-Feb


Macau’s government raked in a total of MOP 14.1 billion (US$1.8 billion) in gaming taxes in the first two months of 2017, according to data from the Financial Services Bureau.

The figures represent a 5.4 percent year-on-year growth compared to the same period in 2016.

The government has estimated that it will collect around MOP 71.9 billion in taxes in 2017.
