GGR hits MOP 7.6 billion for first 11 days of Dec

Macau’s gross gaming revenue (GGR) month to date (Dec 1-11) was MOP7.6 billion (US$951.1 million), implying an ADR of MOP 686 million, according to a note from Bernstein on Monday.

Compared with November’s ADR, the first eleven days ADR represented a 10 percent growth month-on-month, and a 20 percent growth year-on-year compared to the same period in 2015.

“The GGR during the eleven days was positively impacted by good VIP hold rate,” said Bernstein.

Assuming an ADR of MOP 650-670 million for the remainder of this month, December GGR is expected to be in the range of MOP 20.6 billion and MOP 21 billion, representing an increase of 12 - 14 percent year-on-year, said the brokerage.
