Global Gaming Expo adds top talent to leadership team


Global Gaming Expo (G2E), presented by the American Gaming Association, announced significant additions to its leadership team, with two new gaming and event management professionals joining the team, along with an expansion of the Customer Support team.

Ed Several, senior vice president of Reed Exhibitions, has been named to lead all aspects of G2E, while Kevin McDonald has joined G2E as industry vice president.

 “We’re excited about the renewed enthusiasm and excitement these gaming and event management professionals will bring to G2E in 2015 and beyond,” said Nancy Walsh, president, Reed Exhibitions North America. “This team brings the customer insights and passion to support our customers in improving their business outcomes and a proven track record to enable G2E to continue to offer the best platform for the global gaming industry to grow their business.”

Several has 11 years of senior event management and prior gaming experience. He has transformed major tradeshow brands such as the PGA Show, National Hardware Show and others. Having developed and marketed a Keno-style racing game and multiple scratch lottery concepts in several states, Several has a unique gaming development, sales and marketing perspective as well.

McDonald has more than 15 years of experience as an event, sales and marketing executive for the entertainment, professional sports and casino gaming industry. He most recently led hotel and conference operations and special events at Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino in Altoona, Iowa. He has also led the operations for professional sports teams, including the Kansas City Brigade, Chicago Rush and the Iowa Barnstormers Arena Football teams.

“We’re confident that the additions to the G2E leadership team, with their extensive industry experience, will help ensure that we provide significant value to AGA members, especially our manufacturers, and take G2Eto the next level,” said Ron Rosenbaum, chief operating officer of the American Gaming Association (AGA).

Several and McDonald join other executives supporting the G2E family of events who provide continuity for the flagship industry show.

Nancy Jo Hauck will head the newly launched Integrated Resort Experience at G2E. Hauck is a veteran show manager who has managed events for more than 15 years. She combines her experience from managing gaming industry shows with multiple years of client business development to add value for Integrated Resort Experience atG2E customers.

Ginger Curtis, a gaming industry veteran with more than 15 years gaming experience will lead G2E Conference and Key Attending Customer Strategy. 

Additionally, Todd Sheahan has been named Group Sales Director for G2E. He joins Don Wells, a G2E veteran, who will continue to support G2E exhibitors’ growth strategies as Customer Sales Specialist for G2E.
