Intralot 2017 revenue gains 11.4 percent


Intralot, a global gaming solutions company, says 2017 revenue rose 11.4 percent, driven by sports betting.

Revenue came in at EUR1.10 billion ($1.35 billion). EBITDA gained 5.5 percent to EUR171.5 million.

Sports betting was the largest contributor to the topline, making up 55 percent of revenue. Lottery Games were the second making up 31.6 percent.

The group’s revenue from its sports betting operations rose 11.2 percent and it handled EUR24 billion in wagers. Wagers in Asia grew more than 7 percent to EUR7.7 billion and made up the largest percentage share of global regions, followed by North America and Europe.

“Our performance in 2017 reflects progress in all major strategic goals for Intralot and towards a stable and predictable future for our company,” said CEO Antonios Kerastaris.
