Japan Gaming Congress 2019 promises “deep dive”

The fourth Japan Gaming Congress is being planned for Tokyo on May 16 and 17, promising to distinguish itself from past events in the series by offering more of a “deep dive,” giving individual speakers more time to present the specifics of the issues.

The agenda covers such areas as policy and regulation; investment and finance; economy and tourism; and social Impact and local development.

As in previous years, a large number of IR operators will be given the stage to discuss their own companies’ unique approaches and the pitches they are giving to the Japanese market.

Three Japan Gaming Congress events have been held in the past—2014, 2017, and 2018—all of them organized by Clarion Gaming. This is the first in the series to take place after the establishment of the IR Implementation Act last July.

Asia Gaming Brief has been designated a “Global Advisory Partner” for this year’s event.
