Jersey eGaming launches new website

Jersey eGaming, the consortium of companies who provide specialist services to the eGaming industry, has launched a new website.

Independently regulated by the Jersey Gambling Commission, Jersey offers a unique base for remote gambling businesses thanks to its long established and robust legal framework and finance sector, excellent International reputation for cooperation & transparency, technical infrastructure, one-stop-shop service provision and appropriately priced licence base, said the consortium in a press release.

Jersey enjoys a reputation for being well regulated and recognised by the IMF and OECD for its cooperative and transparent approach to its International business and to date has secured 85 MoUs with its International partners and peer jurisdictions.

Its thriving economy provides all of the necessary infrastructure that eGaming businesses require. Further attractions include no corporate tax, no VAT, no capital transfer tax, no capital gains tax, no withholding tax, no stamp duty on trading company share transfers and no wealth tax.

Jersey has a highly developed communications network including island-wide gigabit and 4G connectivity with 100 percent uptime thanks to excellent and unlimited good quality power and licence-free Disaster Recovery provision.

Jersey also offers competitive license fees.

Commenting on Jersey eGaming's increased focus on the sector, Marcus Pallot, partner with law firm Carey Olsen, said, "Jersey provides the most attractive legislative environment for eGaming enabling companies to take advantage of opportunities. The island's extensive IPO and listing services on worldwide stock exchanges will also appeal to companies wishing to grow whilst benefitting from a Jersey Incorporated Holding Structure.

“In a sector where rapid technological, economic and regulatory change is the norm, operators will find a modern, responsive and well-respected base for their business in Jersey. The new website is an excellent resource for finding out more about basing a remote gambling business in Jersey.”
