Las Vegas visitors increased 5.6 percent in Oct

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) reported close to 3.8 million people visited in October, a 5.6 percent increase from the same month in 2014. This brings overall visitor traffic for the first 11 months of 2015 up 2.7 percent compared to the same period in 2014.

Another interesting note is that average room rate rose nearly 12 percent to $135.62 and passenger traffic at McCarran airport was up 6.4 percent compared to 2014.
