Lucky Dragon celebrates grand opening

Lucky Dragon celebrated its grand opening over the weekend, marking the opening of the first Las Vegas casino to target local residents of Asian descent and Asian tourists. 

The casino resort, which includes a 200-room hotel and restaurants has been designed from ground up to create an Asian cultural gaming experience, according to the owners. This theme can be seen across all of its facilities, eateries and bars.

As for gaming, the 27,500 square foot casino includes 37 gaming tables and 300 slot machines.

Matt Harkness, the Lucky Dragon’s general manager said the property has already seen lots of positive feedback since its soft opening two weeks ago.

“We invite more people to come and see this beautiful property," he said.

The grand opening included a ribbon cutting, a Chinese dragon dance, firecrackers, drums and lions.
