Macau CNY visitor numbers rise 7.5 percent YOY

Visitors to Macau during the Lunar New Year holidays are up 7.5 percent compared to 2015, according to preliminary figures from the Public Security Police in Macau, reports Radio Macau.

In total, 418,000 visitors arrived in Macau between Feb. 7 and 9:30pm on Feb. 10.

Of the total, 68 percent were mainland Chinese visitors between Feb. 7 to Feb. 9, with 249,064 visitors during that period.
