Macau ETGs to see new regulations in 2017

Macau’s gaming regulator, the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau says it aims to introduce new regulations for electronic table games next year.

Speaking to reporters on Sunday, DICJ director Paulo Martins Chan defended against claims that there was “limitless growth” to the number of electronic table games in the region.

“We do have regulations regarding those [games],” said Chan, adding that it was not in their work plan this year, but next year.

Chan explained that the bureau plans to wait until next year as it was currently preparing amendments to the city’s casino entry rules of local residents - especially local dealers.
