Macau gaming taxes up 17 pct in Jan-Sept.

The Macau government saw a 17 percent year-on-year rise in direct gaming tax revenue in the first nine months of the year, according to data from the Financial Services Bureau (DSF) released on Monday.

The amount constituted to around 82.3 percent of total revenue in the nine-month period, which came in at MOP99.3 billion, up 16 percent year-on-year.
