Macau package tour visitors increase 15.3 pct in Feb

Visitors arriving to Macau on package tours increased 15.3 percent year-on-year in February, reaching 706,000.
The month saw strong growth in package tour visitors from mainland China and Taiwan, growing 14 and 14.9 percent, respectively. There was also a surge in growth from those from the Republic of Korea and Hong Kong, which grew 32.8 percent and 27.7 percent respectively.
The growth was mainly attributed to the long Lunar New Year holiday this year.
