MdME launches international law practice

Gaming law firm MdME Lawyers has announced the launch of an international gaming law practice as part of the MLGTS Legal Circle.

With leading offices in Portugal, Macau, Angola and Mozambique, the Gaming Law Practice of the MLGTS Legal Circle will service gaming sector clients throughout the Portuguese speaking world.

These offer a diverse range of opportunities spanning from the liberalization of the online gambling market in Portugal, to recent changes in legislation in Angola and the ever-evolving landscape of Asian jurisdictions.

Its multidisciplinary team of experts will work towards servicing client’s needs in both matured and emerging markets.

“The launching of an international practice in the context of the MLGTS Legal Circle will allow us to pair the specialised knowledge developed in Macau and other Asian markets with the recognized quality of the network’s offices in benefit of our clients”, said MdME’s partner Rui Pinto Proença.

MLGTS's partner João Alfredo Afonso added: "The creation of this new international practice area in Gaming Law is a result of the natural process of consolidation and structuring of the know-how acquired in all four offices of our network and it will allow us to provide a specialized and experienced service, so that we can assist our clients in each one of the jurisdictions."
