A glittering awards ceremony was held in Singapore on November 8. MGM COTAI was recognized with six awards in three categories at both regional and local levels, including three regional awards:

and three local awards:

“In the design concept phase, we set out with the vision to develop the most sustainable and innovative integrated resort in the city that would support the development of Macau as the World Center of Tourism and Leisure,” said Mr. Grant Bowie, chief executive officer & executive director of MGM China Holdings Limited. “These accolades not only recognize our pursuit of excellence in this project, but also further promote MGM COTAI as the future icon of Macau.”

Mr. Paul Tse, chairman of the Hong Kong and Macau panel of judges of the Asia Property Awards and a member of the Asia Grand Final panel of judges, congratulated MGM COTAI on its achievement, “It is extremely gratifying to see that winners in the Best Hotel categories of the ‘Asia Property Awards’ and the ‘China Property Awards’ over the years have included some of the most luxurious and unique hotels and resorts from the region. Given the high standard of hotels completed in Macau, it is not surprising that Macau again came out on top and we are delighted to see MGM COTAI and its unique design garnering so many awards.”

The Asia Property Awards, the region’s biggest and most prestigious real estate awards series, is recognized as the ultimate hallmark of industry excellence in the Asian property sector. This year, renowned developers from Asian markets were selected to join the shortlist by an independent panel of judges following several months of nomination, judging and site visits supervised by BDO, one of the world's largest accountancy and auditing firms.
