Mobile casino games offered on Star Cruises and Dream Cruises Ships

Genting Hong Kong has announced the launch of FSG (FreeStyle Gaming) Mobile, an on premise live-table mobile betting application which allows customers of Resorts World at Sea to wager real money on live casino games.

The app is available for smartphones and tablets, and is available on Genting Hong Kong’s Star Cruises ships, namely SuperStar Virgo, SuperStar Gemini, and Star Pisces. It will also be available on Genting Dream, the inaugural ship from Dream Cruises which is the first Asian based luxury cruise line brand. The platform was developed by Resorts World Inc Pte Ltd.

“We are very pleased to introduce FSG Mobile platform with Live Baccarat and Live Roulette games to the Genting Hong Kong Group. Customers on Star Cruises ships and soon the Genting Dream can participate in any casino table games anywhere on the ships within Wi-Fi coverage. It is an easy-to-use multi-game mobile application where players can place multiple wagers on any available live casino table games. Sic Bo will be launched next quarter and there will be more games to come,” said Lim Chee Heong, the chief operating officer of Resorts World Inc Pte Ltd, a joint venture company of Genting Berhad.

“We developed FSG Mobile back in 2013 with the objective to extend betting positions from crowded casino floors and allow casino players to continue playing their favorite game even when they are away from the casino table. Resorts World Genting in Malaysia was our first pilot site back then where we successfully linked the platform to multiple tables across multiple gaming areas. Of course in Resorts World Genting’s case, players can only wager within the casino boundary.” he added.

With FSG Mobile, you can be lounging by the pool, in your cabin, the Spa or having a meal and continue to play your favourite table games. The games are literally “at your fingertips”. FSG Mobile is fully integrated to our casino management system for player identification, ratings and rewards, and more importantly linked to player’s e-cash account for convenience. We plan to progressively introduce FSG Mobile to the rest of our cruise ships by the first quarter of 2017,” said Michael Johansen, EVP casino operations of Resorts World At Sea the gaming marketing and operations arm of Genting Hong Kong.
