Mohegan promotes top entertainment executive

Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment has promoted Tom Cantone, its top entertainment executive, to the new post of president of sports and entertainment.

Cantone’s previous rank was senior vice-president. He will continue to guide entertainment offerings at all US properties, but now will also have overall responsibility for the company’s international properties as well, including the forthcoming Inspire Korea, which is currently slated to open in June 2022.

In September, Cantone was recognized in VenuesNow’s 2019 inaugural All-Stars list, honoring the fifty top executives who have made their mark in key areas of the entertainment industry, and who are expected to continue to shape it in the coming years.

He will be based at Mohegan’s corporate offices in Uncasville, Connecticut.
