Nektan reports accelerating demand from Asia

International B2B and white label gaming software supplier Nektan announced a 48.1 percent increase in net gaming revenue for the 2018 financial year.

NGR reached GBP 19.4 million (US$25.6 million), up from GBP 13.1 million in the previous year.

Nektan’s CEO Gary Shaw said the business has continued to strengthen in its existing markets of Europe and US and has also seen “rapidly accelerating demand” from its international partners in Asia.

The results seem to run in contrast to Playtech’s profit warning issued earlier this week, which reported a particularly aggressive pricing environment and high levels of competition in Asia.

Headquartered in Gibraltar and regulated by the Gibraltar Licensing Authority and the UK Gambling Commission, Nektan is currently live in 37 countries across Europe, Asia and North America.
