New casino developments on track: Union Gaming

Wynn Palace is on track for its August opening, while Sands China’s Parisian is likely to open in the third week of September, according to Union Gamings “Macau pipeline in pictures” report, released on Thursday.

The report, which provides visual construction progress updates on all major gaming projects, made special mention of Wynn Palace, Sands’ Parisian, MGM Cotai, Lisboa Palace and other developments in the pipeline.

“Wynn Palace has now been confirmed for an opening on 22 August,” said the brokerage. “The exterior is entirely complete and the lake is filled with water and the fountains are being tested.”

Sands China’s The Parisian is likely to open in the third week of September. “We have been very impressed with what we’ve seen so far at the property – namely touching all the high points of a trip to Paris (from a photo op perspective) including, of course, the Eiffel Tower, but also other notable landmarks like the Moulin Rouge.”

The brokerage also noted that MGM Cotai is on pace for a 17Q2 opening, with the exterior glass “virtually complete” and the construction will be focused towards and interior fit out.

As for Lisboa Palace, Union Gaming says the development continues to make significant vertical progress and has topped off. It remains on track for a late-2017 construction completion and an early 2018 opening.

Lastly, the brokerage also noted that City of Dreams’ 5th hotel tower is expected to open in 18H1, and Legendale (Fisherman's Wharf) expected to open in 2018.
