Okada Manila VIP revenue falls 37.7 pct in May


Philippines integrated resort Okada Manila, saw gross gaming revenue fall 6.7 percent year-on-year in May, due mainly to a fall in VIP table game revenue.

According to a filing from Tiger Resort Leisure and Entertainment Inc (TRLEI), gross gaming revenue totaled P2.6 billion (US$50.8 million) in May. VIP table games revenue fell 37.7 percent in the month to P1.1 billion.

This was slightly offset by an increase in revenue from mass table games and gaming machine revenue, which rose 36.4 percent and 38.5 percent respectively.

Non-gaming revenue increased slightly to P179 million, and adjusted EBITDA increased 126 percent in the month to P369 million.
