Universal Entertainment Corp, the parent company behind Entertainment City’s Okada Manila, has announced its plans to start operating its all-weather beach club, nightclub and space, Cove Manila, starting in December.
Universal said the dome was a key symbol for the casino. Once opened, the space will be able to host around 5,000 guests for a variety of events.
In the same filing, Universal Entertainment reported net sales of JPY8.9 billion (US$78.1 million), and an operating loss of JPY7.1 billion for its casinos resorts business.
The operator said it has seen a steady growth in revenue and narrowing loss from the casino resorts business since the soft opening of Okada Manila in December 2016.
