Only four Macau casinos remain closed

The Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ) has revealed that all but four of Macau’s 41 casinos are back in business after the government-mandated 15-day closure related to the Covid-19 crisis.

The Greek Mythology Casino and the Casino Macau Palace had already been closed before the suspension took place, and they have not reopened

The Casino Taipa at Regency Art Hotel is scheduled to reopen this Friday.

The Macau Jockey Club casino has not yet indicated when it intends to resume operations and has made no application to do so.

Macau’s total GGR for February came in at only MOP3.1 billion (about US$372 million), a year-on-year decline of 87.8 percent, and coming months are also expected to produce grim results so long as Covid-19 fears constrain the entry of foreign customers.
