Osaka police bust long-running illegal casino

An illegal casino den in the Minami entertainment district has been brought down by authorities in Osaka, with officials noting the business may be the biggest and longest running illegal casino they have encountered in recent years, local media reports.
On Monday, a total of 24 people were arrested, including a 41-year old casino manager, 14 gamblers and nine casino staff.
Around JPY 9 million in cash, and five gaming tables were confiscated, according to local media.
