Oysters possible culprit at MGM buffet

Around 45 customers have reportedly suffered food poisoning after eating at the Rossio Buffet restaurant at MGM Macau, according to a report from Macau Business.

Contaminated oysters appear to be the culprit, with most affected customers claiming to have consumed them in the period from September 21 to 23.

The Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IACM) have sent staff to inspect the restaurant and have requested the restaurant to stop serving the potentially contaminated oysters.

Food samples from the restaurant have been taken for further testing.
