Pagcor revises monthly POGO license fees

Under a revised scheme announced on May 25, POGO licensees offering RNG games will be required to pay a percentage of gross gaming revenue, rather than the previous staggered flat-rate., Calvin Ayre reports.

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation made the announcement on May 25, adding that the change will take effect on June 1, 2017.

Under the initial rules, POGO licensees were required to pay $10,000 per month for each live dealer casino table, while RNG games would be charged monthly at $5,000 per game for the first 100 games, and $2,000 additional per month for each game in excess of the initial 100.

Under the new scheme, RNG games will now be charged 2 percent of gross gaming revenue they produce per month.
